The roles we require in our homes are:
- Residential Support Worker
- Qualified residential Support Worker
- Team Leader
- Deputy Manager
- Registered Manager
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Residential Support Workers don’t need to have a formal Children’s Residential qualification to be employed with us, though, experience of working in a Children’s home or in a Support Worker role & a genuine desire to want to improve the lives of children and young persons, is ideal. We will provide the training, that includes being supported with completing an NVQ/Diploma Level 3, 4 or 5 Residential Childrens qualification. (Note: Ofsted requirement is that the NVQ should be completed within 2 years of starting employment)
Qualifications for qualified roles are:
Level 3 Diploma/NVQ’s;
Residential Childcare or Children and Young People’s Workforce Diploma with Social Care Pathway or Caring for Children and Young People or Health & Social Care – (prior 2014).
Level 4 Diploma/NVQ’s;
Leadership and Management for Care Services (Residential Childcare) or Health and Social Care (Children’s Pathway)
Level 5 Diploma/NVQ’s;
Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services with Advanced Practice Pathway or Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services with Children and Young People’s Residential Management Pathway
